Sometimes its hard to work out what colours to mix to get a certain hue in watercolour. I often use a book by William F Powell which shows different mixes of paints in oil, acrylic and watercolour. It is quite detailed in its percentage quantities of paints used and, to be honest, I'm not that precise.
